Welcome to the Ladies' Section at Congleton Golf Club! 

Our Ladies' Section is a vibrant and welcoming community where women of all ages and skill levels come together to enjoy the game of golf. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, you'll find plenty of opportunities to play, socialise, and make lasting friendships. 

We understand the busy lives that many of our members lead, so we offer competitions on both Tuesdays and Saturdays. This ensures that whether you're working or not, you'll have a chance to join in the fun. Our competitions range from traditional formats like medal stroke play and stableford to more relaxed, fun games throughout the year—perfect for keeping things exciting. 

For those who enjoy a bit of friendly competition, our team competes in the Plate League of the East Cheshire Ladies' Golf Association. This is a fantastic way to experience different courses across East Cheshire and connect with other passionate golfers. The camaraderie and shared experiences on the course are what make our team truly special. 

We also host a variety of mixed competitions with our Juniors and men’s section, adding another layer of enjoyment to your golfing experience. These events are always full of laughter and often conclude with a relaxed social gathering in our clubhouse— great for winding down after a day on the greens. 

If you're returning to golf after a break or completely new to the sport, our “Get into Golf” package is the perfect way to ease in. This programme combines professional lessons with on-course play, paired with a buddy from the Ladies' Section who will guide and support you. Plus, you'll get to experience the full range of social activities that our club has to offer. Many of our current members started through this package and have since become key parts of our community. 

Beyond the greens, our Ladies' Section is known for its lively social calendar. From elegant dinners and fashion shows to engaging demonstrations and talks, there's always something happening that brings our members together off the course.
